Roberta
"Hi everyone!
My name is Roberta, and I'm originally from Turin, Italy.
After finishing high school, I spent several years living in Boston. I earned my degree from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and had the opportunity to work and collaborate in both academic and corporate environments in the U.S.
I returned to Italy in 2019 for work, and since then I’ve earned certifications in Project Management and Managerial Leadership from international institutions such as the University of California Irvine – Division of Continuing Education, and Copenhagen Business School.
However, throughout my years in tech, my passion for teaching has never left me!
In my free time, I enjoy photography and playing the piano.
Thank you for reading. Take care and keep learning!"

Chris
"My name is Chris and I'm a mother-tongue English speaker from America now living in the Salerno area with my wife who is a native to Campania. I have a B.S. in Human Development from Hope International University, California, an English teaching certification (TEFL) from Manhattan College, New York, as well as graduate and post-graduate degrees. More recently, I have pursued some continuing education through the University of Cambridge-Westfield House, UK. My interest in teaching flowed from my experience in training as an officer in the military, but my teaching style is easy-going and supportive.
As a teacher, I've observed how interactive activities that resonate with students tend to encourage them to engage in English conversation. Introducing familiar tasks into the lessons makes for a positive atmosphere and promotes participation. This is essential for aiding kids in developing speaking confidence with grammar augmented naturally as they progress.
I always enjoy meeting High Five! English students who are motivated to improve their language skills."

Lavinia
"Hi everyone!
I'm Lavinia, so happy to be here!!
I'm Irish, from Waterford ☘️ in the Sunny South East of Ireland.
After 14 years of experience teaching English in Italy to children, teens, and adults, I’m still just as passionate about this wonderful journey. Before that, I had a previous career in retail, logistics, and most of all in the equestrian world — training horses, working as a certified instructor, and managing stables. And now… here I am!
Over the years, working with various language schools, in both public and private schools, and independently, I’ve had many opportunities — from being a Cambridge exam examiner to teaching English through play, and starting my journey to becoming a qualified Language Coach.
The Celtic tree that represents me is the Oak...
From a buried seed, year after year, I continue to grow — and with High Five School, I reach new horizons, just like your children will ☘️"

Sophie
"Hello, I am Sophie-Charlotte Richardson. I am a native English speaker from York, a
beautiful historic city in England, much like Salerno. I have been working as a teacher since
2018 and have always had a passion for teaching. I began tutoring English as a teenager,
helping children in my neighborhood get ahead in their language skills. This experience
inspired me to pursue a career in Primary Education.
Since then, I have taught in a variety of settings, including public, national, international, and
Montessori schools. I have had the privilege of working with students of all ages and
abilities. I love designing creative and fun lessons that can be adapted to each students’
individual needs and skill level.
I am thrilled to be working at High Five! English School, and I am very much looking forward
to meeting my future students!"
